User Agreement for Hotel Booking Services

Welcome to Homestyz. This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs your use of our hotel booking website and related services.   • "Personal Data" – any information, including sensitive information, that may be used on its own or in conjunction with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person.

Terms used in this Agreement shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in the singular or the plural form.

Booking, Payment, and Reservation Terms

Our website facilitates the booking of hotels and accommodations through a simple and secure online process. By initiating a Booking, you agree to the following conditions:

  • Booking Confirmation: Once you complete the booking process, a confirmation email will be sent to you. This confirmation constitutes an acknowledgement of your booking along with associated details such as check-in/check-out dates, room type, payment information, and any special requests you have made.
  • Payment Terms: Payment for Bookings may be collected at the time of reservation or upon check-in, depending on the hotel policy. All payments must be made using the payment methods available on our website. In case of any payment discrepancies, you agree to work closely with our support team to resolve the issues.
  • Modification of Booking: Users may request alterations to their Booking by contacting our customer service team. Any modifications that affect pricing or terms may be subject to additional charges or credits, as determined by the hotel’s policies and our service guidelines.

Cancellation, Refund, and No-Show Policy

We understand that plans may change unexpectedly. Accordingly, we have established a Cancellation Policy that outlines the terms and conditions under which cancellations, refunds, and modifications may be made. The following provisions apply:

  • Cancellation Request by User: You may cancel a Booking subject to the time limits and conditions set forth by the hotel’s policy. A formal cancellation request must be submitted through your user account or by contacting our customer support team. The effective time of cancellation will be when the cancellation request is processed and acknowledged on our system.
  • Refunds: Refunds, if applicable, will be issued based on the terms communicated at the time of booking. Refund processing may take up to fourteen (14) days from the confirmation of cancellation. Special promotional rates or non-refundable deposits are not eligible for refunds unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Cancellation Periods and Fees: The period provided for free cancellation varies depending on the hotel’s individual terms. For instance, some hotels may require cancellation to be completed at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled check-in time; failure to comply may incur cancellation fees equivalent to one night’s stay or a predetermined percentage of the total booking price. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, you may be charged the full amount of the Booking.
  • Hotel-Specific Cancellation Terms: Certain accommodations may have unique Cancellation terms which will be clearly indicated during the Booking process. It is imperative that you review these terms carefully prior to confirming your reservation.
  • Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under this Agreement if such delay is due to events beyond reasonable control, including acts of nature, government restrictions, and other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, cancellation policies may be waived or modified at the discretion of the hotel or Homestyz, subject to prompt notification and verification of such events.

By confirming a Booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Cancellation Policy, including any potential fees or conditions that may apply in the event of modifications or cancellations.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy and the security of your personal data are very important to us. This section explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in compliance with applicable laws and best practices.

We collect personal data that you provide voluntarily during the Booking process, registration, or when contacting our support team. The types of data we may collect include your name, contact information, payment details, and any additional information that you choose to provide regarding your accommodation preferences.

  • Use of Personal Data: We use your personal data for the purposes of processing your Bookings, communicating with you about your reservations, providing customer support, and improving our services.   • Force Majeure: Neither party shall be considered in breach of this Agreement if performance is prevented by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, technical failures, or government actions.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. The arbitration award shall be final and binding on both parties.

By using our services, you agree to hold Homestyz harmless from any claims or losses arising out of or in connection with your use of our website and services.

Modifications to the Agreement

Homestyz reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Agreement at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review this Agreement periodically. Continued use of our services after any modifications shall be deemed acceptance of the revised terms.

Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. The waiver of any breach or provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of any future breach of the same or any other provision.

If any provision of this Agreement conflicts with applicable law, such provision shall be reformed to the extent necessary to comply with the law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
